Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2003
I made this for Christmas dinner and everyone loved it. Even those who would not normally eat cranberry sauce thought it was delicious. This recipe is a keeper!

Eggnog Cheesecake III

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2003
This cheesecake was delicious. It is very rich, so a little goes a long way. I loved the eggnog flavor and the fact that it is made with prepared eggnog. I topped it with whipped cream. It is a great Christmas dessert.

Baked Potato Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2004
This soup was very tasty. I used 10 slices of bacon because that is all there was in the package, however, next time I would use more. I also added a bit more flour to thicken the soup.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2004
This is the best chicken salad I've ever tasted! I served this for lunch on croissants and everyone asked for the recipe. I didn't measure the ingredients, I kind of just eyeballed it, putting as much cranberries, nuts, onion and bell pepper as I wanted and it turned out great!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2004
These cookies are definitely for the chocolate peanut butter lover. My husband thought they were really good. I didn't use any chips, just broken up mini Reese's peanut butter cups. I think the chips would have been overkill. The batter is really sweet, so I would suggest to use chips or candy, not both.

Homemade Peanut Butter Cups

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2004
Delicious! I just melted chips without the shortening, and it worked fine. These are way better than Reese's! Everyone who tried these loved them.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2004
This is a tasty, chewy cookie. I added vanilla, chocolate chips, and more oatmeal. The only thing I did not like about them was that they spread so much while baking and turned out really flat. But my husband didn't seem to mind. He thinks they are excellent.

Chewy Crispy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2004
I wasn't sure what the texture of these cookies would be like, as they are called chewy and crispy. They are excellent! I baked them for 10 minutes and they were chewy, but had a slight crunch as you bite into them from the crushed cereal. I added chocolate chips. Next time I may try adding some walnuts as well. These are my new favorite!

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2004
This macaroni and cheese is very rich and creamy. My husband loved it and said so several times during dinner! I used crushed Ritz crackers instead of the bread crumbs. Definite repeater!

Cola Pot Roast II

Reviewed: May 3, 2004
This roast makes a very tasty gravy. I cooked mine in the slow cooker. I used a whole package of brown gravy mix and when the roast was done, I boiled the gravy on the stovetop and added some cornstarch to thicken it. I served with mashed potatoes.

Fried Onion Rings

Reviewed: May 29, 2004
These came out really good, but I also added more salt, more pepper, and Phillip's Seafood Seasoning to the batter. I added more salt when they were done. The batter would be pretty bland if you don't spice it up a bit.

This bread is great and really moist! I used powdered sugar and lemon juice for the glaze. I will definitely make this again.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Delicious! These muffins are flavorful and moist. The recipe made 12 muffins. Next time I will double the topping because you can never have too much streusel!

Strawberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2004
I wasn't thrilled with this cobbler. I've definitely had better. I didn't care for the brown sugar in the batter and the brown sugar and butter on top. The filling was good, but I would use a different recipe for the batter on top.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

This bread is delicious and very moist! I made half the recipe and got one large loaf and two mini loaves out of it. I will be using this recipe as my new banana bread recipe from now on.

Chocolate Caramel Nut Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2004
Move over Cheesecake Factory! This cheesecake is sinfully rich. I drizzled caramel topping and hot fudge sauce on top, and topped with whipped cream to make it an over the top dessert! I made it for my husband for Father's Day and he loved it.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2004
I was disappointed in these muffins after all the great reviews. They had absolutely no taste. I'm glad I used a lot of chocolate chips in them, because the muffin itself was incredibly bland. I even reread the recipe because I thought I may have missed something...like sugar, but I did use the 1/2 cup of brown sugar the recipe called for. I even added a streusel topping to the muffin. I will not be making these again.
