Cosmopolitan

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2005
This is a good cocktail, like most bars make it. The secret to an awesome Cosmo is using 1 tsp. of Roses Lime Juice instead of lime. It balances tart of cranberry. You can get Roses at most grocery stores.

I did cut way back on the oil to 1/2 cup & added 1/2 cup applesauce. Very moist.

This has become a regular at our house! The only changes, I add 1/2 cup chicken stock & 1/2 cup sour cream for more flavor.

Good recipe after a few changes. I used 1 cup butter, omitted shortening & used 2 tsp. baking powder, omitted cream of tartar & baking soda. Also flatten with a fork before baking.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Good & Super Easy. I added about 1/2 cup chopped sweet onions. This recipe is also much better using fresh or frozen corn.

Fantastic! Better than store bought, and the better the vodka you use the better the result!

This is basically a White Russian with coke added. I've made these for years & this recipe calls for way too much coke. Use only 1/2 the can at most.

The only thing I changed was adding fresh minced garlic & I used jar spaghetti sauce. I also used fresh grated cheese. My husband really liked it & he's picky!

OMG...this is good stuff! I added a little more water because I needed to drizzle it over a chocolate bundt cake. Definitely a keeper.

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
My rating is based on recipe before changes. I cooked the rice ahead & let cool first. Left out the carrots. I also added 1/2 cup chopped green cabbage and 1/2 lb. peeled-deveined shrimp. A local restaurant adds chopped cabbage and it's awesome! The onion and cabbage needs to saute' until tender. The Sesame Oil is a must.

Chocolate Pound Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2006
I followed exact & cake turned out good. I have to agree with other reviews, it just isn't that rich in chocolate flavor. Next time I will for sure add 1/2 cup melted chocolate chips, otherwise good recipe! Freezes well.

Not one of the best for my family, my husband didn't care for it. Maybe with a few changes it would be better.

OMG this was GOOD! The only thing I added was 1 tbsp. dried Parsley & 1 tsp. Cumin. I made this on a cold winter day......The cheese & sour cream make the dish and it's even better the next day!
