Last week I went over to my local Cuban restaurant and had their Ropa viega sandwich and was kind of craving it. I always look to Goya for their recipes. I used pretty much all the ingredients except for the Goya Sofrito, sorry Goya, but I can't stand their bottled sofrito so I used fresh Sofrito in place I also left out the capers because I didn't have any on hand. I also didn't use the Goya bouillon I used the Knorr one instead. Over all this dish was great. I made black beans and white rice to go along with it.
