The "Whiz-Wit" Dip

Let me start by saying I hope AR accepts and publishes this recipe. It turned out phenomenal! I was going to make it for NYE but plans changed and I didnt so I decided to make it for the Eagles vs Cowboys game today.I hope it makes it that long. I made it exactly as written with the exception of leaving out the roasted red peppers b/c I forgot to buy them. I used my own canned jalapenos from my garden which gave it just the right kick. I am using sliced and halved Italian bread . Next time I think I will buy a couple of french baguettes and toast them alittle. Thanks JJsmama for this AWESOME dip! I will be making this again!

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots

This was AWESOME! Nonstop rave reviews all night about this. I 4x the recipe because I made a 7.75lb roast so my cooking times were longer. I cooked it in the oven for 1 hr @ 375 then took it out and "tented " it with foil while I made the sauce then added it back to the oven in the sauce on my "keep warm" temp until everything else was done. It turned out perfect. Thanks for sharing this recipe and Thanks to Abapplez from the Recipe Buzz for recommending it.

Grandma's Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili

This was just OK! The only change I made was instead of 2 hours on high I cooked it 6 hours on low. I wasnt that impressed with the flavor. I dont think I will be making this again. Sorry!

Parmesan Spinach Balls

These were good. They probably would have been better with the addition of some garlic like others had done. I made them exactly as written until it came to baking them. The first batch I baked like the recipe says and was disappointed b/c they seemed to flat out. So for the 2nd batch I decided to deep fry them @ 375 in peanut oil for about 2 mins or until they were golden brown. They looked alot better. I will be making these again b/c everyone seemed to like them even without a dipping sauce. Next time I might add some chopped fresh jalapeno also. Thanks!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

So easy and good! I served this over steamed whitr rice. I cooked it in an aluminum pan and added fresh broccoli to half of the pan pouring the scampi sauce over it as well as the shrimp. Thanks for the recipe I will be making this again.

Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

These were really good. I used Andes candies creme de menthe candies chopped up. They are definately keppers. If you like mint chocolate chip ice cream you will love these.

Three Bean Soup

This was really good. The only change I made was to add a can of chicken broth to thin it down alittle. It was alittle bland before I added the mozzarella cheese. We thought the addition of the cheese was great and made the soup taste like pizza. I will be making this again. Thanks!
