Ground Beef Curly Noodle

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
This got mixed reiews. I made it two different ways. First, I made it exactly as written and 2 out of 3 liked it. I also made it vegatarian only subbing Boca crumbles for the ground beef and 1 of 2 liked that. I'm not sure if I will make this again.

Black Bean Rice Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
These were good but as written the would not stay torether. I added approx 1/2 cup bread crumbs. I think the sauce was very good and helped these out alot without the sauce they needed something else. I will be making these again because I have a bunch of the rice and bean mixture left that I am freezing.

Tex'n Melt'm

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
I made this tonight for a get together. It was devoured. I should have doubled the recipe. I used southwest style salsa and only half of the cheese (8oz). It was still really good.Added nacho cheese to the top of a little bit and it makes it even better. I will make it again. Thanks!

Garlic Infused Broccoli Rabe and Chickpeas

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2012
This was just OK! I was the only one out of five people who liked this. The two kids might have liked it if it wasnt too spicy for them.I made it exactly as written. It uses way too much oil. If I make this again I will probably cut the oil in half to 1/3 cup and skip the first browning of garlic step as I didnt feel it did anything. I would just add all 3 cloves of garlic at the same time as I add the broccoli rabe. As far as the flavor it really seemed to be missing something like 1 tsp of italian seasoning. If I make this again I will rerate it.

This mustard was awesome! Like others I cant believe I made my own mustard. I had to order the mustard seeds on myspicesage.com. I gave a jar to a friend who served it at a get together and it was loved by all. I will be making this again when my stock runs low. Thanks Pelicangal!

I doubled this recipe and served it with Garlic herb pork tenderloin from this site. It was really good but it had to cook a long time for the balsamic vinegar to evaporate. I will make this again.

Pumpkin Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2011
I'm only giving this one star b/c it tastes really good but other than that nothing is right. I made it exactly as written allowing the full 18 minute cook time. First of all it turned out more like caramel or a sticky taffy than fudge. Secondly, It is stuck to the foil used to line the pan. I managed to peel the foil off of a couple of little pieces to try it but cant peel enough to be able to serve it to anyone. Sorry, but I wont be making this again!

Buffalo Chicken Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
This was really good. I doubled it b/c I made it for 50 people. I used Buffalo Wild Wings mild sauce. The only thing I did that the recipe wasnt specific on was after I drained the pasta I added the veggies in with the hot pasta to "steam" them so they were alittle softer than raw veggies. I am taking the little that was leftover for my lunch today. I will be making this again. Thanks!
