Caramel Pecan Shortbread Bars
These are very good. I made them in a 9x10 pan so the cookie part was a little thick. I think next time I will invest in the right size pan. I made my own caramels by dividing 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk in 3 8oz jars with lids. Cover them with water in my slow cooker on low for 8 hours. Then you add 1 tsp of vanilla to each jar and beat with a wisk. You have homemade caramel. The only reason that I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was when you added the chocolate it didn't want to stay creamy. I think the "rich hot fudge sauce" recipe that is on this website would of been a better choice for the chocolate. I will try that next time.

Real Homemade Bagels
I made these plain because my intentions were to make bagel sandwiches out of them with egg sausage and cheese. While I was making them I thought they were going to be pretty ugly but, they turned out looking like a professional had done them. The recipe was easy to follow. The only thing I did differently was added a tablespoon of lemon juice to the mixture to act as a preservative. I have found that it makes the bread stay fresher longer without molding. I made 8 out of the recipe instead of 6 and they were still huge!

Mel's Crab Salad
This is great! I did not wait to eat it though. It might have been better the next day but, I never found out because it was so good. I did use regular buttermilk ranch though because I don't like the fat free or reduced calorie. I only used a 1/4 cup of mayo and I added a little bit of cream to give it that extra that it needed from the reduction of mayo. It was great. Will make this again!!!
