Gingerbread Men
I am still learning about baking and had never attempted gingerbread before. I followed this recipe and the gingerbread men were great! I did find that it was easier to mix and seemed to turn out better when I melted the butter instead of using room temp. I have no idea if that was implied and I just missed it. I have made a few batches now and they tend to be crisp on the outside with just enough soft in the center to make my 2 1/2 year old gobble them down with delight! I did double it,store airtight& use milk & confect sugar glaze as others suggested. The reviews were right again, glaze realy isn't needed! Thank you so much for this recipe. It will be a joyful addition to our holidays and that is a priceless gift!

Chicken Noodle Soup II
I added less water and more broth as well as celery and onions. The noodles are great and it reminds me of my grandmothers soup!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole
This has been a hit for Christmas and Thanksgiving a couple years in a row now. It is simple and cooks up really well. If you want to spice it up with cheese or sweeten it as suggested in other reviews it stands up to it perfectly! I would even suggest that you let the younger family members 'help out' at holiday time by making this recipe. It is that easy.
