Oaty Cereal Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2003
this recipe is great. I alternated it a bit. I used cheerios and added trail mix instead of just salted peanuts. Then I made another batch minus the peanut butter and used fruit loops. outstanding for the kids.

Super Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2004
I don't recommend. I made it with omitting the ketchupfor bbq sauce. still bland. i had to add tomatos sauce, more brown sugar, more worcestershire, and then adding a bit of ketchup, and more seasonings. so basicaaly i had to make everything my own.

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2004
My experience in making this wasn't a good one. I decided to make it in a bundt pan. After putting it in the pan, I realized that I didn't layer the filling and batter right. Being a bundt pan you would have to layer it upside down. So I just kinda mixed the filling into the last layer with a butter knife a bit. That was fine. But I also didn't butter the pan enough because it stuck. but as you see I gave it 4 stars because even though I messed it up, the taste is wonderful!! I added slivered almonds and it cooked for 1 hr 10 min. being in the bundt pan it needed longer time to cook. I will deffinetly try again, doing it the right way. The taste is out of this world!!!

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2004
This recipe was great. At first I wasn't sure to rate either a 3 or 4 star because the rice is real mushy but I couldn't stop eating it!! My husband and my to boys, age 4 and 2 loved it too. I used 1/2 can of water, a little sage, poultry seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Just a shake or 2 of each. I also used dark meat. I cut up a couple thighs and left 3 chicken legs whole cause my boys like legs. I also added 1/2 bag frozen broccoli. Next time I will try using brown rice so it won't be mushy.
