German Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2004
So good! I cut back on the oil. I used 1/2 c of canola oil and 1 1/2 cups of sugar. This the the first time I made apple cake and I love it. I made an 8x8 with half of the batter and 10 cupcakes with the rest. I will be freezing the cupcakes for later use. I was real nervous because there was no milk or water in this recipe and was extrememly thick, but is soooooo good!

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2004
I had problems with this. i made it, it wouldnt harden enoug. was elastic. so i folded it all up, put it back in the glass bowl, microwaved it for 5more minutes, stirred it, and microwaved it for another 3-5 minutes. It's alot harder, but some parts could have hardened more than what they did. I won't be giving up on it though. will try again.

Husband's Delight

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2004
This is good. Really different from everything thing else I have ever had. I kept the onions in the cream cheese and sour cream. that gave it a stronger (crunchie almost) flavor. I liked it. I added a ts of minced garlic and 1/2 jar of spaghetti sauce to the hamburg meat. Excellecnt.
