Scott's Coast-to-Coast Famous Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2015
I can't believe this only has 37 ratings! This is my absolute favorite go to recipe for wing sauce. Everyone acts like I'm some kind of cooking genius when I use this at get togethers. I don't change a single thing! But I do use baked wings. I put the sauce on the cooked wings and pop them back in the oven for a few minutes. Perfection!

Apple Crisp II

Incredibly good and so very easy. I know some people said don't use the water. I did and it came out just fine. Also added some pecans. Had a group of people over and everyone loved it!

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Couldn't be easier or more delicious! Followed recipe exactly as written. I used mini bundt pans and baked for 20 minutes. Very moist and chocolatey. Someone mentioned that is even better the second day and I would agree.

Pretty much our standard Christmas cookie. Nothing needs changed, perfect as is. I always use a number 40 scoop and do not sugar the bottoms. They come out wonderful every time!

Garlic and Parmesan Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2014
We had a "wing fling" night with all types of different wings and sauces and these didn't last. Everyone loved them! Very easy to follow recipe. One of my sons who cooks nothing helped make them. The second time I made them, I didn't want to mash the garlic, so we used 4 tablespoons of granulated garlic powder. Still awesome! Oh yeah, I saved the brine to use again.

Egg Noodles

Very simple, but wonderful recipe! No changes necessary, but I did add salt and pepper while mixing. Also, quick dried them in 200 degree oven for about 8 minutes.

Best Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2013
Loved this quick and easy recipe! I followed others' suggestions and doubled the ginger and garlic and used cole saw mix, which I lightly sauteed in a bit of water and soy sauce. One addition I did make to the pork was to add a tablespoon of oyster sauce. Made them for some friends and they said they tasted just like what you'd get in a restaurant!

Absolutely 5 stars! Incredibly easy recipe, comes out consistantly beautiful every single time. I use a Kitchen Aid for kneading. I love the recipe as is, but sometimes substitute 1 cup of whole wheat flour and add a tablespoon of wheat germ for a little crunch.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Absolutely wonderful! My first try I used someone's suggestion to decrease oil by half and add 1/3 cup of milk. It came out perfect. I've made it twice now and it was a huge hit both times!

Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2007
This recipe is absolutely wonderful! The instructions were perfect. I agree with one of the previous posters about rolling out the rope and letting it rest. But I just wanted to add something that really worked for me. After rolling out ropes a bit, I covered them with a slightly damp towel while I rolled out the others. When I went back to finish rolling them out, they were much easier to roll. I used only all purpose flour because I didn't have bread flour on hand. I didn't use parchment paper, I simply greased the cookie sheet. Also, I laid the pretzel on a spatula while I dipped them in the soda water bath, then flipped them over onto a cloth for a moment before putting them on the cookie sheet. They were light, but chewy... just like a mall pretzel!

Orange Almond Biscotti I

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2003
I love this recipe! The flavor ad texture are wonderful. However, I cut the flour down to 2 3/4 cups. I also have great results using orange extract instead of zest. It's easy to make and the results are consistent! We love to dip/coat our's on one end with chocolate.
