These were awesome! I made cucumber and wasabi dip like they make at TGIFridays to go with them.

My husband really liked this recipe but I thought it could have used a little more curry.

Cajun Barbecued Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2004
This marinade was truly fast and very tasty. I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil and I used 4 tablespoons of Tony Chachere's original cajun seasoning. This is a great recipe! Thanks!

Deep Fried Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
These got really soggy by the time they drained and cooled down enough to eat. I added salt and cayenne to the batter but they still were bland.

Tea Tassies

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
I didn't have the correct pan for these but a 12 muffin tin worked great. I just rolled the dough into 12 equal balls and pressed them into the bottom and then spread the filling over the top. I've made these once with pecans and once with walnuts. After the two times baking this I've come to the realization that the crust is bland. But the filling is so good you can't tell. Next time I try this I'll use store bought pie crust. I think it's easier and will probably taste alot better. That being said they were great! With pecans it really tastes like pecan pie and you really can't tell the difference between the walnuts and pecans.

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2004
This is exactly the recipe that I use and my family has used for ages. Because I am from the South (Alabama), I love this recipe even with it's simplicity and lack of robust flavor. People who like spices should try adding cayenne pepper and garlic powder for something extra. Me? I'll stick with the homestyle method. Thanks!

Honey's Butter Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2003
This was my first bundt cake and it turned out beautifully. I took some other reviewers advice and used half the amount of sugar and cinnamon, but at the end wished I had stuck to the original recipe. It finished baking after 55 minutes and I iced it with a simple sugar glaze. It was moist and delicious. *****

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
I couldn't find really large mushrooms, so I used the regularly packed white mushrooms. I bought three 8 oz packs, and ended up getting 35 caps filled with the amount of filling that I ended up with after doubling the recipe. My husband really loved this recipe. I had to stand guard so everyone could get a chance to try them.

Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2010
It seems to be a very Americanized recipe for enchiladas. Next time I'll make my own sauce because the canned was too heavy on the chili powder. Husband loved it though!

Coconut Almond Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2008
These cookies are great! I didn't know until I was well into the recipe that my almond extract was out of date so I replaced it with vanilla, added a handful of chopped pecans and they turned out perfect at 12 minutes.

Yellow Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2008
I thought this dish was awesome. I read reviews that said this was mushy after being baked so I cut the squash about 3/8" and it was perfect. Thanks for a great recipe!

Dawn's Candied Walnuts

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
I had a little trouble but they ended up great! Like other reviewers my syrup reached the soft ball stage too soon, about 4 minutes. I ended up having to add more milk after the walnuts were added to the syrup to make the consistency right. I also added 1/8th teaspoon cayenne pepper to the mix which added a great flavor and bite with the sweet. Thanks!

Broccoli Salad II

I love this recipe. It's super easy, especially with microwavable bacon. I don't like vinegar much so I cut it in half and it came out perfect for me. My husband actually ate the leftovers before the next day. Thanks!

We love this recipe! I omited the red peppers and served it up with sour cream and Louisana hot sauce. It was a huge hit. Cooking times were very accurate as well! 5 Stars!
