Simple Whole Roasted Chicken
Like others, I was intrigued and a bit skeptical about the spice ingredients. While it was cooking, I was still a bit unsure. The scent reminded me of the honey-baked ham we get at Christmas and I wasn't sure if that would translate well onto the chicken. I followed the recipe exactly, except I brushed some melted butter 30 minutes in and added a cup of boiling water (didn't have any smoking!). The chicken turned out very moist and delicious. I will be using this recipe again. Next time I may substitute brown sugar for white and try to make my own honey-baked Christmas ham!

Yummy Garlic Croutons
I sprinkled a bit of garlic salt and black pepper over the top of the croutons. I left them in for twelve minutes because at 10, they weren't brown enough for my tastes. They came out nice and crispy and very flavorful!

Pumpkin Cheesecake I
I made this while testing out different recipes for Thanksgiving. This was delicious! Since I'm hypoglycemic and am watching my weight, I made this with Splenda, low-fat, sugar-free pudding mix, skim milk, low-fat cream cheese and low-fat butter. I'm sure this will be a big hit at Thanksgiving this year!
