Peanut Cluster Candy

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
YUMMY!!! and soooo easy to make. It truly is a big hit and have copies of the recipe handy, they will be asking for it. I used Heath's Toffee bits, couldn't find the Bits of Brickle, and it was very good. I will have to look for the brickle, that would be awesome.

The Best Unbaked Cherry Cheesecake Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
Made this for dessert for Christmas and it was a huge hit. Made small adjustments. Added a bit of leftover chocolate graham crackers for a mixture of honey grahams and chocolate, would use a bit more margarine next time, was very loose. Also put into a springform pan instead of the pie pan. Used a large can of pie filling, filled the whole top with cherries and the presentation was very festive. Great no bake recipe and the results were awesome, with several requests for the recipe.

Amatriciana-Style Rigatoni

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2005
This recipe was very good, although I made several changes to make it easier and to use what I had on hand...I used minced garlic in olive oil with the red pepper and onions. Didn't have pancetta, so I substituted 2-2.5oz pkgs of real bacon bits, and 2-14oz cans of Italian diced tomatoes for the plum tomatoes, then cooked as directed with the wine, which gave it a wonderful flavor. In addition, I added 1 cup shredded motzarella along with the Romano cheese and mixed it all together...It was a tad salty, so next time I won't add salt, but my husband loved it and it was really easy.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2005
This is truly an awesome recipe and what makes it even better is that it is easy too...I agree with some of the other reviews, mixing in the mozzarella. It does leave a hard top making it hard to dip a chip, unless you use a spoon. Also used whole grain crackers as a dipper...Everyone loved it and had requests for the recipe!! Thanks for a keeper!!

Strawberry Champagne Punch

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2005
I made this punch for New Year's Eve and it was delicious...however, I too made it more interesting and fun by using 2 champagne and only 1 ginger ale. I also made a ice ring with strawberries and ginger ale that kept it cold until it was gone!! Big hit with everyone. A definite for next year and maybe during the year, if the occasion arises.

Wisconsin Bratwurst

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2004
Thanks for this great recipe. I made it this weekend for an outdoor neighborhood Halloween get-together, and everyone loved them. I used both fresh brats and cheddar brats, more onions, less butter. Cooked them ahead of time, then everyone put them on a poker and roasted over an open fire pit. The onions were great for topping along with a brat mustard on a big old hoagie...Yum!!

Oven Baked Jambalaya

Reviewed: May 18, 2004
This recipe makes enough for a crowd, so I split it into two pans, cooked one for the family, the other went into the freezer for a future meal. I plan on making this for our block party this June. Great flavor, made little changes to suit our tastes..Thanks

Chocolate Covered Easter Eggs

Reviewed: May 18, 2004
Although most of them were good, they were a lot of work. The cream and coconut were the best. The peanut butter and cocoa were drier, so I will add less next time. They did get better the longer they sat. Got a lot of compliments on these.

Terrific Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2004
What a great recipe!! I wasn't paying attention and added a small can of tomato paste instead of 2TBS, but it turned out wonderful. I also added a can of black beans and red kidney beans. The flavor was wonderful and just the right amount of heat..Everyone loved it and I will definitely make this one again. Thanks

Angel Hair Pasta Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2004
This was so easy, I've made the vegetables for a side dish. The only thing I would change is to add a sauce that sticks to the pasta...or make more of the chicken broth/parmesean mixture. That didn't coat the noodles enough, so the Alfredo sauce might have met this a little better.

Divine Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2004
Good recipe..I wasn't so sure at first. While mixing it just seemed like it may be dry, but it sure wasn't. And boy did it smell good cooking too. The ketchup sauce on top gave it a good flavor too. I did add a few sprinkles of Worchesteshire sauce too.
