Lobster Newburg

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2015
Very flavorful! I did take others advice a bit. I sauteed Very little white onion, green onion and one garlic clove minced in the butter and then added the Sherry. Then I pretty much completed the recipe as is. I used Lobster from a container, claw meat and tail meat so delicious. I did add a touch of Cornstarch at the end to thicken up the sauce a bit more. This would be very tasty on angel hair pasta or in a Green pepper or atop mushroom, then baked with a little parmesan sprinkled on the top. Thank you for a wonderfully, easy recipe!

Cherry Bomb Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2015
I made it pretty much as is! The only thing I had to change was I used only thighs and baked them at 350 degrees for 1 hour and fifteen minutes. Turned out very moist and wonderful. I didn't have a blender so I used my very small food processor to chop and emulsify the tomatoes, peppers and garlic then I incorporated it into the cooled water, sugar, salt mixture. When summer comes, I will try it on the grill. Thanks John for another lovely dish! Also tasted good without the sweet chile sauce.

I only like Artichokes fried, and yet this recipe was so yummy! I made it exactly as directed and my husband and I could not get enough. Thank you for posting it, we will certainly make this again. It even looks wonderful on the plate and so decadent to eat!

Szechwan Shrimp

My husband loved it. The first time I made it I did not have honey on hand, so I used 2 packets of Sugar in the Raw. All I added was a teaspoon of hot sauce. I just made it last night with honey and both ays were very comparable. I will make this again for sure, thanks.

Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2013
OMG it was wonderful! I did not change a thing! It really made the chicken succulent! The sauce really made it! In fact days later, I took Flounder and baked it with a little butter, dill and lemon pepper seasoning, and then made the sauce as it was in the recipe and spooned it on top of the baked flounder. My husband said it was the best flounder he ever had, definitely restaurant quality! thank you!
