My favorite family cooking traditions
Most every meal was homegrown, whether produce or meat. One of my fondest food memories is of my great grandmother reheating collards in a cast iron skillet and adding tomatoes.
My cooking triumphs
I have done some catering, but the honor of being asked to prepare several meals for friends who were entertaining, that was worth more than money. I love to entertain, I love to watch people enjoy good food.
My cooking tragedies
Still working on baking bread! Cooking is pure art, but baking... that is a science.
