Slow Cooker Beef Stew I
I've made this three times. The first two, I followed Corinne's recommendations and it was very good. I had less time this morning and so actually made it exactly as presented in the original recipe with one small modification - I didn't have broth so used a large Knorr's beef bouillon cube and 2 cups of water. I thought it was delicious and my husband said that it was my best batch ever. So very easy! If you haven't tried it as it is written, you owe it to yourself because it is so very easy and you don't give up flavor!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
I made this soup last night for a group aging from 12 to 88. Everyone devoured it! I made it gluten free by using white rice flour. I doubled the recipe but followed another reviewer's advice on the butter/flour, using 1 stick of butter and 10 tablespoons of flour with 4 cups of 2% milk. I used 4 cups of low sodium chicken broth (did not use bouillon) and 2.5 cups water. Added no salt and about 1/8 tsp. of pepper. Added a cup of frozen corn as well. Wow. Thanks for the easy delicious recipe!

Foolproof Rib Roast
I have never cooked a rib roast and was very apprehensive. I followed this recipe as written except added about a tablespoon of chopped fresh rosemary to the rub. For a 4.35 pound rib roast, the cooking time was perfect (1 hour cook, 3 hours "no opening the oven door" rest and then 30 minutes of cook. Medium rare to rare. Delicious!!
