Pecan Sandies

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2014
This is a great recipe. I took the advice of others and used 1/2 cup of white sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar instead of 1 cup of all white sugar. I also doubled the vanilla extract and did 1.5 tsp of salt. These were a huge hit!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2014
Absolutely delicious and super easy! 40 cookies sounds like a lot, but if you are making them for a gathering or if you are making treats for someone's birthday, I would say double the recipe. These are small, and delicious, and go quick quick quick!

Herb-Crusted Walleye

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2013
This recipe is great. I used tilapia. I didn't have any saltines or crackers, but I had a partial box of Italian style panko crumbs. So I used that and added in all the seasonings. I also halved the butter because an entire stick seemed like a lot! It turned out great, and the seasonings plus the Italian panko crumbs, minus the butter... It was perfect. I made a pasta salad and green beans on the side. This recipe is a keeper.

Lentil Soup with Lemon

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2013
I love this recipe. It is so great and is easy to make. I double the recipe and skip the blender and pureeing. I serve the lentils over rice and it makes a great, healthy, and filling meal. My boyfriend also loves it.

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2013
These cookies were amazing! They were so moist and chocolate-y. I loved them, my neighbor loved them, my boyfriend and his parents loved them, my sister loved them and even asked for the recipe... SO GOOD! This will be my go-to recipe for choc chip cookies. The only change I made was just to use regular vanilla extract, because it's what I had.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2013
This cake was wonderful. I made it for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. I had planned so many activities for his bday, so I was in a time crunch. Normally I like to make things from scratch, but I didn't have a lot of time. After reading all the reviews, I thought this would be a good "semi-homemade" cake recipe. And it was fabulous! Everyone loved it! Very moist and oh so chocolately! I will definately make this again!

Apple Butter Spice Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2013
This cake is wonderful, albeit a little dry. Perhaps reduce the bran cereal by a 1/4 cup, and maybe increase the sour cream by 1/4 cup. That is the only reason I am giving this recipe 4 stars instead of 5. The flavor is wonderful. It is a very comforting cake. On my mom's last birthday she was alive, she requested a spice cake and this is the one I made. She loved it. Very fond memories with her and this cake!

Seven Layer Dip II

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2013
Easy to make and everyone loved it. I had debated on whether or not to make it because we already has so much food at the Super Bowl party, but I'm glad I did because it was gone in a heart beat! I am giving it a four because I think the beans should be doubled. So instead of 16 oz, use 32 oz. The beans got lost with everything else. I will definitely make this again but will double the beans.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2012
These are great! I followed the recipe exactly, and they were perfect! I didn't think they were too salty at all. Both my husband and my dad agreed that they never want a pork chop prepared another way!
