Chewy Crispy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2003
These are awesome! Crispy on the edges and chewy in the center. I took them to work and everyone loved them and kept asking for the recipe.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2004
These cookies are so good! Crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. I had a lot of white chocolate chips so mixed in white chocolate chips, then divided the dough and added butterscotch chips to half and chocolate chips to the other half. The butterscotch/white chocolate/oatmeal combination was to die for.

Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2004
These were very easy and very good. I made them the night before for Sunday breakfast and everyone liked them. I would probably add a little more filling but all in all, they taste great. I will definitely use this recipe again.

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2004
I did not like these brownies. They were too cake-like and bland. Maybe adding chococlate chips or something would help. They also burnt around the edges easily.

Oat Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2004
These are pretty good. I used light brown sugar because I didn't have dark brown and I used cinnamon applesauce. I also added 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, and 1/8 tsp cloves. They smelled delicious and tasted good too.

This was great!!! I made it for Thanksgiving and my family loved it! It smells delicious while cooking. I added 1/4 chopped dried apricots and substituted the cider vinegar with orange juice.

Strawberry Cake II

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2005
This cake is to die for!!! It gets 10 stars! I made this for my boss for her birthday and was so good I have to make another one this weekend. I did make a couple adjustments. I used fresh strawberries and chopped them in a food processor before adding to the batter. I made a 2 layer 9x13 cake instead of round. For filling I used the filling from the Strawberry and Cream Cake on this page (1 1/2 cups heavy cream, 2 T sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, and 1 1/2 cup sliced strawberries) and used homemade cream cheese frosting to frost the top. It was absolutely amazing. People at work are still raving!

Strawberry Chocolate Mousse Cake

Reviewed: May 11, 2005
This is very good. I made it because I had strawberries that needed to be used up and it was so easy! Plus it looks fantastic. I'm making it this weekend for a dessert party and I'm sure it will be a huge hit!

Pistachio Fluff Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2005
This recipe went over very well! I made it for a potluck because I wanted something easy. Took me less than 10 minutes to make. And every one at work absolutely LOVED it! I had about 5 people ask for the recipe. The only thing I personally would do differently is maybe use the 8oz size of Cool-Whip to boost the pistachio flavor in the pudding. Great recipe!

Lemon Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
This was really good and I don't really care for lemon. My mom loved it. She's the lemon person in the family. I did have to bake this a little longer that listed but its still good. I am making it tonight for a coworkers birthday. Will add some lemon juice and a little lemon zest to the batter to make it more lemony. I also topped mine with a glaze made of powdered sugar and lemon juice.

Excellent! I made this for Thanksgiving and the family loved it. I added 1/3 cup sugar to make it a little sweeter as other reviews suggested. The topping made it unique and it looked great.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
This was soo good. I have never made stuffing before but it was excellent! I used pork sausage instead of turkey because it was all I could find at the time. Left out the liver and used chicken broth instead of turkey stock. I did not stuff the turkey with it. Instead I used twice the amount of broth and baked it in the oven at 350 for 40 minutes. The only other change I would make is to add more bread. It was mostly sausage. But so good!

Toasted Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2006
This garlic bread is amazing. It's now the only recipe I use and it's so easy. Occassionally I add a little dried basil, or Italian Seasoning, or even some fresh chopped parsley to the butter mixture.

I made this for Easter Brunch and it was a huge hit! It was so easy to make and delicious! I did follow the advice of other reviewers. I used 7 eggs, 1 cup milk, 1 cup half and half, 2 tsp of cinnamon and I added 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg. Everyone loved it!

Bagel and Cheese Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
I liked this casserole and would personally only give it a 4. However, I'm giving it a 5 because I made it for Easter Brunch this morning and it's the only thing that was completely eaten and I don't have any leftovers. Everyone just loved it. It was super easy to make which is a big plus when cooking for 10 people. I used 14 eggs instead of 12 and used smoked sausage instead of bacon. I also topped it with Colby Jack cheese instead of Parmesan.

Made these for Easter Brunch as carrot muffins. Left off the icing. They were delicious. Very moist! Would not change a thing in this recipe!

Blueberry Coffee Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
This was just ok for me. The taste was allright. I used the recommended amount of blueberries but maybe it would be better if I used more. Also I would stick to just putting strusel in the bottom of the bundt pan so it comes out on top when inverted. Like other reviewers, I did have to add about 1 1/2 cups more milk and another egg to get it to a more batter-like consistency. Probably won't make this again unfortunately.

Just like what you order in restaurants. Eat them quickly or they start to firm up as they cool
