Up until recently, I don't think I've ever bought Ore-Ida products for home, but I know that Ore-Ida Tater Tots are ALWAYS a treat when we're out and about. (One of our local fast food restaurants serves chili cheese Tots and they're positively irresistible!)
So this month I had the opportunity to buy Tater Tots, bring them home, and play. What fun!
I could have "mixed and matched" but I have to admit, I stuck with the Tots.
My second recipe was my own take on another fast food favorite: Tater Tot breakfast burritos. I scrambled some eggs with cheddar cheese, and wrapped them, along with the Tots, in a soft, warm flour tortilla. (You can add breakfast meats and veggies
as well, to add more flavor.) They were a huge hit with my family!
My third and final recipe was the simplest: Tater Tots as a side to eggs over-easy.
It was easy to work with Ore-Ida Tater Tots. We were not at a loss as to what to do with them. Every time I turned around, my daughter was requesting Tater Tots. If she had it her way, they would be an ingredient/side in almost anything I cooked. And
I feel exactly the same way!
