Whole Wheat Banana Strawberry Loaf

My husband didn't like this bread. He said it tastes like flour... I didn't find it anything special or great either.

Good, but they dry out fast. 32 bars out of an 8x8 in. pan? You're kidding... I don't serve brownies (or for that matter anything else) in pea-sized portions. The recipe makes 9 normal-sized brownies.

Sophie's Zucchini Bread

The pans DO need to be greased, especially glass ones. My (mostly) whole-wheat loaves stuck to the bottom of the pans with all their might, and removal ruined them.

Original Irish Cream

This recipe is deserving of five start. It is quick, easy and truly excellent. I find it particularly nice since it doesn't call for raw eggs. I quadrupled the recipe in my first batch i just made, and now have three big bottles in my refrigerator. We really enjoyed this and plan to make it again and give away as gifts at Christmas time.

Asparagus Quiche

Yet another recipe which attempts to fit 10 lbs. of stuff into a 5 lb. bag... I didn't find a 10-in. pie crust, so I used a 9-in. deep dish pie crust. No way you can fit all the liquid into that, or into the recommended 10-in. one. It always bothers me when I end up with ingredients left over. The end product was tasty, though.

Angela's Potatoes

This is different and quite tasty. I used Jerusalem artichokes instead of potatoes, since we always get a big batch out of our garden and my husband loves them. Creamy and cheesy as can be, and a great side dish to just about anything.

Cocoa Apple Cake

Excellent recipe: moist as can be, and chocolatey. I used milk chocolate chips since I'm not a fan of semi sweet chocolate, and it came out terrific. This is a keeper.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Good recipe, but rather time consuming. Next time I'll use store-bought bread cubes or stuffing mix, to decrease the prep time. I added raisins and chopped walnuts.
