I have been making these scones for Christmas Breakfast for three years in a row. I am a HORRIBLE baker. Not even I could mess these up! This year I even acciddently mixed in the sour cream before mixing it with the egg first. I even used baking soda that was not the freshest (translate, I found it in the back of my cupboard) and they still came out delicious! One thing I tried this year was doubling the recipe and then cutting the dough into two portions. I mixed in chocolate chips in one and thawed out frozen cranberries in the other. Both were perrrrrfect! My family were hard pressed to pick a favorite. Thank you, Thank you Pam Anderson!
