Sauteed Zucchini

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2013
Finally I know what to do with the zucchini that is given to me during the summer! Made this for dinner tonight and I swear I could eat the whole thing myself. Delicious. Wonderful side dish that will be a staple in my rotation. I did add a little extra bouillon and a little extra salt, but otherwise it was GREAT. I did not have any cloves of garlic on hand so I used about a 1/2 tsp of garlic powder (don't quote me on that).

Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
Not a fan. I guess I like "cheesier" version of spinach dip rather than the sour cream/mayo version. Probably won't make this again.

Cheesecake Supreme

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
OH MY! With slight baking modifications, this is the 8th wonder of the world! I cannot believe how pretty this cheesecake is. I used a 9" springform pan and after following another user's advice, I put the cheesecake in the oven then turned it on to 200 and baked it for 3 hours and 10 minutes....I didn't like the way it looked at that point so I went ahead and let it bake an additional hour, then turned the oven off, propped open the door of the oven slightly and let it cool for 1 hour. The cheesecake is absolute perfection. I'm afraid if everyone is following the user's advice that says to cook it only for 3 hours and 10 minutes you're going to end up with a cheesecake custard instead of a cheesecake with actual cheesecake texture. I made this for Thanksgiving and did follow the advice to make the "supreme strawberry topping" and this will be a yearly Thanksgiving and perhaps Christmas recipe from now on. AWESOME!

Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2012
Just made these and they're really great! Easy recipe. I used butter instead of margarine. My only regreat is that my pumpkin didn't have enough seeds to make more!

This is going to be my "go-to" recipe whenever I find myself short of dressing. Usually have these ingredients on hand and the dressing is deliciously addictive!

Stacey's Hamburger Seasoning

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2012
Did not have and didn't reallly want to use cayenne pepper for this, so I just doubled the brown sugar in the recipe. I used the entire recipe mixed into about 4 pounds of hamburger meat along with 3 eggs to hold it all together. I had made the burgers a bit thicker and bigger than normal and my husband commented on how good they were despite being so thick. This recipe was great.

Country Cinnamon Swirl Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2012
Doubled the recipe and filled 2 loaf pans. The batter spilled out all over the oven and has taken over an hour and still is not done in the middle. I was going to give this bread as a gift and it looks just horrible. The house smells wonderful though, so I am attempting one more loaf as a single recipe. Sure hope this one isn't the disaster that the first two were.

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2011
These cookies are FABULOUS! I happened upon a leftover bag of M&M's and ran across this recipe. My kids and I had a great time making these. They looked beautiful, tasted even better and were so easy to make. This will be a recipe that I hold onto forever. Made the cookies using butter flavored Crisco and mini-M&M's. Out of the oven they were slightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Never have run across such a perfect cookie recipe.

Oatmeal Crispies

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
Just made these as directed. I used butter flavored Crisco for the shortening, but other than that, I followed the recipe. I cooked them for 10 minutes. The cookies weren't as crispy as some other recipes I have tried but they were still very delicious. Not sure if I had just left them in the oven another 2 or 3 minutes if that would have made a difference or not. Still a great recipe and I will keep this version as well as the other I have. Fantastic staple recipe. Could add coconut, raisins, toffee bits, or chocolate chips, or just leave them plain, depending on your mood. This one's a keeper!
