Easy Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2013
This is actually quite good! I changed minced onion to a small chopped onion. We like onions with our pork though. It was delicious and I'm making it for the second time this evening. Thanks for this great, and truly easy, recipe!

Slow Cooker Lemon Pepper Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2013
I used a little more of everything as recommended by some of the reviewers. I cooked it on low. I was asked to make THIS for Easter dinner instead of a ham or turkey. It was a HUGE hit with family members.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2013
Easy. Yummy. I live in Alabama so I know good pulled pork. THIS is good pulled pork. I always use pork butt as well. It goes on sale and I buy it and freeze it. I use Garland Jack's BBQ sauce. The "boys" ( all in their 20s now ) flock to the kitchen when this is being served up!!!

The World's Best Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
I will never make turkey any other way, and that includes the deep fryer sitting outside. This was the most tender, juiciest turkey I have ever made. My daughter said, "You know I don't really like turkey but this is so good!". My son said, "This turkey isn't dry at all!!!!". My son mentioned it again the next day while making his sandwich with leftovers. I've worked for decades to make a juicy turkey. This is it. I did not waver from the instructions other than I had to cut up the apples some to fit in the cavity. I used the cheapest champagne I could find on the shelves. I did NOT cut slits in the bag as the recipe didn't say to do so. It was fine. Thank you thank you thank you thank you.

Southern Fried Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2012
This is exactly what everyone says it is. Easy, quick, and absolutely yummy. I did like most said and cut the sugar to 1 teaspoon and it was fine. I didn't add onions because our guest doesn't like onions. I will add them next time and I bet it'll be even better. It was FINE without them though. MAKE THIS Y'ALL!!!!

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
I normally despise tuna casserole. I LOVE this recipe. I sauteed the onions and mushrooms first. I added 1/2 soup can of milk. In every other way, I followed the recipe. This is CRAZY good!

Lemon Pepper Chicken and Gravy

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
I finally am coming to rate this...which I should have done LONG ago. I make a couple changes. I delete the green pepper, add a whole onion with the chicken while it's browning, and use jar gravy ( 2 jars ) as I like that specific type of chicken gravy the best. It's VERY good and an easy, quick meal that everyone seems to like.

Easy Sugar Cookies

The "kids" ( in their 20s ) have eaten the entire batch in less than 5 hours. I just put out more butter to soften for tomorrow. I agree with reviewers. Make sure your butter is SUPER softened.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
This was INCREDIBLY good and easy. I did follow some advise of other cooks. I mixed the ingredients in the food processor to mix them up well and I sprinkled some bread crumbs on the bottom of the pan so the chicken wouldn't stick. Next time I will use more butter and less bread crumbs. It was TENDER and JUICY and everyone was quiet around the table as they ate! :)

'Got Some Crust' Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
Ok taste but the bread crumbs either sucked up all the moisture or just made it have the consistency of sawdust. I would alter this recipe. The TASTE is good though.

I'm gonna gain 900 pounds ... in a week .... because of THIS recipe. It is SO good! I mean REALLY good. I didn't change a thing. I didn't add nuts but if I did, they would be pecans.
