Chinese Broccoli Slaw

I made the recipe as stated except I only had about 1/4 cup almonds so I added sunflower seeds to make 3/4 cup. In my opinion, too much butter, too much dressing; both can be cut in half. I would have given it more stars if it were a healthier version. Delicious anyway.

Szechwan Shrimp

Used chili sauce instead of ketchup. Increased water by 2 TBLS. Used fresh grated ginger. Wish I had fresh garlic but didn't so used jared instead. Doubled sauce. Used a medium chopped onion as well as 5 chopped green onions. Cooked onion & garlic in sesame oil 1st then added the sauce mixture to pan and let it thicken-about 8-10 minutes. Finally, added pre-frozen, thawed shrimp & cooked, shelled edemame. Cooked until heated through. Served on top of angel hair pasta. Broccoli slaw as a side dish. Yum!
