Shoyu Chicken

I thought this was just okay. The onion taste was overwhelming until I knocked the onion pieces off, I couldn't taste any garlic, and it was kind of juicy (it wasn't dry). I think this marinade is more suited for burgers, which I am going to try it out. All I can say is I'm happy I only fixed one piece of chicken this way or I would have felt like I really wasted it.

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

Like other users I couldn't taste the garlic and if you want spicy make sure to use cayenne pepper. I doubled the black pepper but couldn't taste it. It's not the juiciest fried chicken I've ever had, only average. I won't be making this again; I'll stick to the way I usually make my fried chicken.

Honey-Brined Fried Chicken Breasts

This was my first time making fried chicken and it turned out juicy and delicious. I also didn't feel like I have a bunch of grease in my mouth after eating this. I did have to change a few things: I didn't have cayenne pepper so I doubled my black pepper, garlic powder instead of garlic salt, no onion salt, reduced fat milk since I didn't have buttermilk, and I used regular salt. I will definitely be making this again.

Spicy White Chili with Chicken

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

My hubby and I love this dish. I had to change a few things increase the brown sugar to 2 tablespoons, leave out the ginger, decrease the soy sauce to one fifth of a cup, and I used one and a half tablespoons of Sriracha.

Grilled Salmon I

I fixed this salmon dish because my hubby is a big fan and he actually requested it for dinner a few nights later. We don't have a grill so it had to be baked at 425 for 20 minutes. Everything else was done the same way. The next time I make it I'll make some extra marinade to use as a dipping sauce.
