Simple Maple Syrup

Lemon Pie II

this is one of my favorite pies. i grew up eating it except we always just called it cream cheese pies. i would also recommend freezing it. that's my favorite way to eat it. it's also good topped with cherry pie filling. :)

i grew up eating this, but i disagree about freezing it. that's the only way i like it. also, i prefer to leave the vanilla out so it's more tart.

Pumpkin Cookies with Penuche Frosting

these were excellent! i didn't have shortening so i used margarine instead and ommited the salt. i didn't have enough confectioners' sugar so i had to half the frosting (best frosting by the way). and frosted the rest with a chocolate icing. it was all soooooo good.

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

not quite the traditional cream cheese frosing, but still quite good. i added about 3/4 c. powdered sugar just for the heck of it. next time i think i might add lemon juice in place of or in addition to the vanilla just to give it a bit more kick. either way, it was realy good. i made it for the "best ever" cinnamon rolls, also on this site.
