About this Cook
I'm a young housewife with two little boys: Calvin and Lucas. I love to cook for my family and I love to eat.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking new things for my family and experimenting to see what they like and don't like. Oddly enough my husband is pickier than our boys. I love birthdays, I always make character cupcakes for the boys. Ernie from Sesame Street and Bob the tomato from The Veggie Tales have both beer great successes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up with large family holiday dinners, and present at every one was cream cheese pie and a chocolate chocolate chip cake.
My cooking triumphs
I love birthdays, I always make character cupcakes for the boys. Ernie from Sesame Street and Bob the tomato from The Veggie Tales have both been great successes.
My cooking tragedies
I have not managed to make a successful chocolate cream pie. I've tried many recipes and they never set. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, or what to do differently, I've started blaming other things, like the weather. lol

Lemon Pie II
this is one of my favorite pies. i grew up eating it except we always just called it cream cheese pies. i would also recommend freezing it. that's my favorite way to eat it. it's also good topped with cherry pie filling. :)
