Just bland and it lacked character.

Cranberry and Cilantro Quinoa Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2013
I'm not one to be negative, but I found this dish absolutely atrocious. All sorts of flavors fighting over each other and not blending one bit. I followed the recipe to the tee and I couldn't find anything about this recipe that I liked. I can see many others liked it, but I didn't.

Baked Broccoli

No clue why this has 3 1/2 stars, this is a great recipe and it punched the bland boiled/steamed broccoli in the .... Well it tasted great! I will be making my broccoli like this from now on!

Indian Chicken Curry II

This dish was good! I felt like the lemon was a bit too much so maybe 1/3 instead of 1/2, even after settling the lemon kind of threw off the whole dish in my opinion.

Chef John's Caramel Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2012
Yes, this is a quick and flavorful recipe. I put it on top of some steamed rice with some steamed broccoli and it was great. The sauce is pretty powerful. One thing I noticed was when adding the first third of sauce to coat the chicken it seemed watered down and took a long time to cook down to a thicker sauce. Next time I will try draining the broth from the chicken after cooking it a bit and see if that helps.. Or adding less sauce at first. Great recipe and I'm going to make it again tonight.

Southern-Style Meat Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
This recipe is good! It's a nice twist on traditional meat sauce spaghetti, and I like things that are different from what you're normally used to. I do like spicy foods, but if you're sensitive you might want to tone down the red pepper. I used half of this recipe which serves 2 people fine. I chopped up a green pepper very finely for added nutrition, turned out fine. Nothing else to say, it's good!
