I would simply like to see more slow cooker recipes. I have a minor kidney problem, & as a result, I learned to cook from scratch, & now make great low sodium meals in the slow cooker. For someone who bought all their groceries from the frozen

I am a retired college professor & pro jazz musician. I taught political science for 15 yrs. ar the U. of Washington; then another 14 at McGill U. in Montreal. I gigged at night in both cities, & after I retired to come home to Sydney, N.S. after my mother died, & then began to play gigs in Europe & the Scandinavian countries mostly. I have also toured in Japan, China, Australia, even Africa. I am now 70 & cannot gig anymore (guitar) because of opsteoarthritis in my fingers. I met my wife when I was doing a gig in Amsterdam. Mirewille is from France (Paris), is 15 yrs. younger than I, & we winter at her villa in the south of France (Aquitaine....wine country). We go tro Monaco where I watch the clay court tennis, & I play poker. I now write a political blog that is picked up by the online newsletters.
My favorite things to cook
pot roast, soups, veggie dishes, omelets I make up my self using the blender, curried dishes
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother was an excellent cook. Mostly meat & potatoes, but also great lasagna, Jewish dishes, etc.
My cooking triumphs
Nothing really yet, but I did a stir fry in the wok that everyone thoughT WAS WONDERFUL. I must admit, it was delicious.
My cooking tragedies
Just one so far....an overcooked pot roast in the slow cooker.
