Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2014
This soup was the perfect solution for a cold winter day! Absolutely delicious. No changes except used canned tomatoes. Made tortellini separate and added per serving. Didn't really think it added to the soup so tried without tortellini and found it delightful. The soup is full bodied enough that pasta is not necessary. I decided to leave out the carbs. Loved the aroma and flavor of all the fresh herbs!

Asian Glazed Chicken Thighs

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2012
This was excellent. I baked the chicken in the oven, pouring some of the marinade into the baking dish which worked well. Chicken was extremely tender and moist. I used only 1 Tbsp. Chili garlic sauce and might even use a little less next time. My husband loved it - we had it with white rice and the sauce was great (even if a little warm for me). My 6 yr. Old granddaughter loved the chicken (without extra sauce). She told me to give this recipe 5 stars, which I'm happy to do. I will be making this again.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2012
I chose bulk country sausage which was wonderful. I followed the advice of others and used O'Brien Hash Browns and browned them in olive oil before adding them to the mix. I also took frozen broccoli florets, precooked them in microwave, then chopped into small pieces before adding. This casserole was a huge hit. Hubby and 6 yr. Old granddaughter are excited that there is so much we can have it again and again! My granddaughter, who is visiting, asked, "Can you teach my mom how to make this?"

Gaucho Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2012
Since I'm not a student, I have access to more than a microwave and preferred not to use it for this recipe. I prepared it in a skillet on the stove adding ingredients as directed. I left out the water as I used Uncle Ben's Long Grain White Boil-in-Bag Rice and prepared it before adding to skillet mix.I also added garlic powder. Once everything wa mxmixed in the skillet and simmered for a few minutes, i poured It into the casserole dish. All ingredients were then toppped with double the amount of shredded cheese. Casserole was baked in oven at 350 until cheese completely melted. Turned out excellent. Served with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions and guacamole. Husband commented on flavor and went back for more. 6 yr. Old granddaughter went for thirds exclaiming, "I don't like it, I LOVE it!"

Simple Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2012
I couldn't resist adding my own touch... Added 2 Tbsp. Sweet relish, instead of white vinegar used red wine vinegar, instead of prepared mustard used honey mustard with bacon dressing, sprinkled smoked paprika over eggs. All other ingredients were the same.. Wow! These were wonderful! Hubby and dinner guest went crazy over them. Will definitely make these again!
