Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2011
Very good! Even with my emergency substitution of soy sauce and ketchup for Worcestershire sauce.

Loga's Microwave Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
The seasoning was tasty, a lot like 57 sauce. The only thing I didn't care for was that the chicken looked so unappetizing. But the microwave didn't heat up my kitchen like the oven would; so that's a decent trade off. I served this with brown rice.

Pineapple Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
Pineapple Cheese Casserole is so delish! I only gave this recipe 4 stars, however, because I cut the sugar in half. Also, I think I will cut back a little on the flour next time, as it seemed a little gummier than I thought it should be.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
I used Jif PB and real butter. It wasn't oily at all for me, but I did use a stand mixer instead of a hand mixer. Maybe that's the difference some people are having with the recipe that's causing the oiliness. Also, the butter should be softened, but not melting. Too warm butter would cause oiliness for sure. It was perfectly spreadable for me. If it looks too stiff in the bowl, just add a little more milk. The only change I made was adding a little vanilla extract. The only mistake I made was not doubling the recipe!! Great recipe! Thanks!

Smoky Mexican Pork Stir Fry

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
This was a truly fantastic dish! My husband said it was the best pork dish he's ever had, and my picky daughter even loved it. The only thing I changed is that I used fresh carrot ribbons and green onions instead of the peppers and onions, just because that's what I had on hand. We used Naan bread and ate it like a wrap.

Vegetarian White Bean 'Alfredo' with Linguine

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
I was a bit apprehensive about pasta with beans, but it turned out to be a pretty good, quick, and easy recipe with just a few modifications. I used what I had on hand: fresh linguine, steamed broccoli, and a can of navy beans. To make the sauce, I gently sauteed the garlic in olive oil and then added the beans, which I did not drain all the way. The beans tasted nothing like alfredo and they were pretty bland, so I added a bit of curry and lemon juice to the beans as they warmed. I did not like the sound of adding milk, so I incorporated a bit of the pasta water instead.

Pita Chips

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2005
Everyone LOVES these chips! At work parties they're always the first thing gone. My husband loves them too. Do heed the advice to watch them carefully. They will burn very quickly. Exellent recipe!
