Quick Yeast Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2003
My whole family are bread lovers, so I have been trying different recipes. This is one of the best. It is really easy and quick. The advantage of using the muffin cups means I don't have to roll these out by hand. Definately a good roll.

Best Rolls Ever!

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2003
I was looking for a really easy yeast roll recipe when I came across this one. Not being the best cook in the world, I was almost intimidated but gave it a try any way. The recipe title sure fits - these are the best rolls ever. I wasn't sure what "do not punch down" meant, so I just pinched off the dough right out of the fridge and rolled it up. They turned out great. Really light, fantastic flavor.

Peanut Butter Balls III

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2003
So easy and so great. These taste almost like the candy "whatchamacallit". It has a wonderful flavor and the rice krispies give it a great texture. My children ate these before I got to give them as gifts.

Peanut Butter Balls V

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2003
This recipe is delicious!! I did use wax instead of shortening though, and the balls were so pretty. I made them as a gift basket item and everyone who tasted them raved about them. I was asked for the recipe four times!! I also rolled some of the freshly dipped balls in crushed nuts.

Mom's Yeast Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2003
This is one of the best roll recipes I have ever tried. My little boy calls it "the really good buttery roll" and begs to have them with every meal. The muffin cups make it really easy, but I did roll them out a time or two, using just enough flour to make it workable in my hands, and they turned out fine.

Peppermint Patties

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2003
My little boy and I made these as a gift basket item for his teachers at school. I absolutely loved the taste, but I struggled with the dipping process. We opted to call ours "ugly but fantastic". We sprinkled some with ground up peppermint candies, added red food coloring to the filling , and even dipped some in white chocolate. The teachers loved them - what was left of them after my children and husband got through with them, that is!!!

Banana Nut Bread Baked in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2003
I was skeptical, but oh my gosh, this is the best recipe ever. I had one jar spill over a bit, giving me the opportunity to actually taste the finished product before I gave the jars as Christmas gifts, and it was absolutely delicious!! I too left out the cloves, reduced the suger by 1/2 c. and used only really ripened bananas. I was totally impressed with the ease of preparation, but with the end result. I will definately make these again, and often.
