My sister introduced me to this dish. I am IN LOVE with it! I've made it several times since then. We use hot sausage instead of sweet, because we like it better. We also leave out the parsley since it's really just for granish. We use the canned diced tomatoes with Italian seasonings and it comes out great! I would suggest not cooking the sausage in oil. No need for it. Also, if you rehead the leftovers, just pour a little more heavy cream over it before you pop it in the microwave. DELICIOUS!
