Hi, I'm Richard and this is my first blog post!
This summer, Allrecipes is giving me the chance to return to Italy, my country of birth, to collect recipes and learn from Italian home cooks. My journey will begin in July, when I will fly to Rome and drive south into Campania and Calabria, where I will be
learning about my favorite southern Italian foods.
In the meanwhile, Allrecipes was kind enough to invite me to their offices in Seattle, where we were given training on topics like how to convince people to share their original recipes and how to take appealing photographs of food. We were also treated to
several delicious meals while in the care of Allrecipes, no surprise there.
So, with all this preparation under my belt I'm looking forward to Italy. Until I leave, though, I'll be getting my last few tastes of chinese, mexican, and all the other cuisines I'll be leaving behind for the next few months!
