Better than Grandma's Brownies
These were fair but too sweet for me.If I made these again, which I doubt I will,I'd cut the sugar in half. Also like other reviewers,it took roughly 40 to 45 minutes to bake, then the edges were over-baked.I don't know why it says to beat the egg mixture so long,I'd cut that time down to a few minutes.

Una's Cheddar Beer Bread (bread machine dough cycle)
I have made this bread twice and each time it has risen very slowly and not nearly as high as I would have liked.I make all my bread by hand and I can't see that as being a reason for the slow rise. I made this again last weekend but this time I added some gluten to it and it still rose slowly,it rose to a height of 2 and a quarter inches.I like the taste though, even though it's a bit on the spicy side.I'm a home brewer also and the thought of making my own bread with beer that I made really intrigued me.One more thing, looking at the pictures here of this bread it looks like I'm not the only one having trouble with this being a slow riser.I would give this recipe 4 stars if it rose better.

Buffalo Chicken Dip
I wasn't impressed with this at all.For one thing the taste of the hot sauce completely overwhelmed all the other ingredients.Another thing I didn't like was the pool of orange grease that accumulated on top.I tried skimming it off but I couldn't get all of it out.Instead of tossing this in the garbage I used it as a pasta sauce,I hate wasting food.If I ever make this again, and I highly doubt I will,I'd use 2 chopped chicken breasts instead of the canned chicken chunks and cut back on the hot sauce.Take my advice and look for some other dip recipe.
