Savory Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2007
This had a really good flavor! However, it did need to simmer longer than 20 minutes to become tender. I will make this again!

Creamy Fruit Salad II

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2005
I made this just the way the recipie said and it came out very runny. I seemed to have no form at all. I had made it for a potluck at work and everyone seemed to like it I just felt bad because it was very messy to eat. I don't think I'll make this again.

Stuffed Green Peppers

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2005
This was so good. I made it for my sister for Thanksgiving. She is a new found vegetarian! Everyone even the "meat eaters" liked this dish. I think it will be on the menu every Thanksgiving! I did add some corn to the mixture to give it some color! Thanks for posting!

Chicken Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2005
This was a very good soup. My bf had been craving chicken soup for a while. I think this hit the spot! I did add some homemade Amish egg noodles to make it more filling and it may not have to be on the stove for the full two hours, the chicken fell apart before I could get it out of the pot. I will make this again! Thanks for sharing!

Banana Chip Muffins I

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
These are very good. I only had two ripe bananas and most of the other recipes I looked at needed three so I thought I'd try this one. After reading other reviews I decided to double to milk and choc chips and add some vanilla and cinnamon too. As well as a handfull of trail mix with dried cranberries. I just took them out of the oven and am trying one... so yummy! Will make again.

Gorgonzola Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2005
I guess I should have researched what gorgonzola cheese was before I made this dish. My boyfriend and I couldn't eat the sause because it was way too sour! I like some blue cheeses but I must not like this one.

Popovers

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2007
Ok so I had never made popovers before and they were super easy! I ended up putting some of the mixture in small custard dishes and the rest in my muffin pan cause I ran out of the other dishes. All of them were really good. I did like the ones in the custard dishes better because they had more of the "popover" flavor and form. I did cook them for a shorter amount of time cause I didn't want them to burn. I think I took 5-10 minutes off of each oven temp and they turned out great. I will be making these again :)

All American Apple Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2005
For the past two years this has been the only apple pie recipe I will make and I made a lot of apple pies. I live in an area of the country that has many apple orchards and of course I love to pick apples. I have always used honey crisp apples in this recipe! They are the best! The only thing I change about this recipe is that I bake the pie for a full hour instead of the 45 minutes. I found that the 45 minutes leaves it runny.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2004
I really enjoyed this dish, but my boyfriend thought it had too many spices and it was too spicy. I don't usually like spicy food but I really liked this. I will make it again. But I may not use so much cayenne pepper next time. Also only use 1 teaspoon of salt in the whole dish! You'll understand when you make it. I used 2 teaspoons, one in each mixture and it was still too salty. Thanks for the recipe!

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2005
I thought this was very yummy. I did change it a bit however. I used chicken breasts and baked them separately at 350 for 35 minutes. I made the rest on the stove. I used two cans of cream of mushroom soup, a whole medium sized white onion, 14 oz of fresh mushrooms sliced, and a pinch of garlic, salt and pepper, and 1/8 cup of a port red wine. I put it all over rosamarina pasta. I will make this again. Thanks for sharing.
