About this Cook
I love to cook, and try out new recipes as well as tweak and change them. I especially love asian. my favorite is chinese! I'm European and like to mix the old ways of cooking in germany with what I learn here in America.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts. Especially brownies!
My cooking triumphs
I'm an expert at stir fries and sushi, and I invent diffrent smoothie flavors about once a month. Every year I expierment with macaroons, my latest is with a rasberry in them!
My cooking tragedies
Soufle's are my worst. I can never get them to not fall onto themselfs like a crater on the moon!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins
these taste great, but I ran into some problems. 1. do not fill these to the top! they puff up really big, making the batter overflow. it took a lot of cleaning to get it out of my oven afterwards. :P 2. always use the paper cups! these really stuck even with lots of cooking spray. 3. (this is optional) you can do half and half of brown and white sugar for the topping. I got tons of compliments on that one! over all, if you are more experienced than I am with muffins, these turn out great!

Scones
Even though I put the egg in the meashuring cup first (with the milk) mine were way too wet. I had to add a LOT more flour (about 10 tablespoons) to fix it. I put strawberrys in my scones (i had to thaw them) but the juice made it wet again so I had to add more flour. It made 18 scones with a glass for a cookie cutter (instead of triangles). i also added a mixture of lemon juice and powdered sugar on top. it turned out ok but I would use less milk.

Avgolemono
My family has a slightly diffrent recipe, but this is just as good! I couldn't find the orzo pasta so we used rice, which is a good variation!
