Pineapple Upside-Down Cake VII

I have been a member of Allrecipes for 3 years and this is the first recipe that I have ever reviewed, It is FANTASTIC. I am not a fan of PUDCake but this really is good, especially warm from the oven. I think that the secret to taking the box taste awy is mixing well then letting the batter rest to disperse the bubbles. Also bake a little longer than the box says.

Couscous with a Kick!

This is a fabulous salad. Very flavorful and it keeps well in the fridge. I generally prepare a warm couscous with roasted chicken for dinner and then prepare this tasty salad the next day for lunches and snacks. Thanks for sharing.

Spinach Salad with Warm Bacon-Mustard Dressing

This is truly a 5 star steakhouse style salad. It is easily adaptable to items on hand. I left out the cheese and almonds to save a few calories and fat but I did you the bacon drippings to saute the shallot and garlic. I have used different vinegars depending on what I have on had, sometimes white balsamic, sometimes rice wine, sometimes white wine vinegar. My husband and son raved!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Excellent recipe! I added cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla as others suggested and also added a handful of butterscotch chips. YUMMY! I only had the Splenda Brown Sugar Blend in the house so that is what I used in the topping. I also used all Baking Soda since we were out of baking powder and they turned out fine.

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

I absolutely LOVE this meatloaf and I am not the biggest fan of meatloaf in general. I add a packet of onion soup mix, garlic powder and a bit of oatmeal in place of the breadcrumbs because I love the texture. Double the topping (not the brown sugar though). My husband raves each time I make this.

Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

This is now my go to Honey Mustard recipe. It is breeze to whip up and keeps beautifully. Using FF mayo doesn't appear to alter the taste much and adds a nice body. I use rice wine vinegar and shallot in place of the onion.

Panzanella Salad

We really enjoy this salad. I do cheat by mixing in store bought seasoned croutons in place of the toasted bread to the vegetable mix just before serving. I also use grape tomatoes, baby mozzarella, and fresh basil.

Smooth Sweet Tea

Smothered Beef Short Ribs

With just a little tweaking this became a 5 star dish. I seasoned a mixture of short ribs and stew meat little heavier to suit our personal taste, browned the meat on the stove top and transfered to a crockpot. I also used just 3 cups of broth and thickened my gravy with one cup of a flour water slurry. Served it with rice, cabbage and insalada caprese. My family raved.

Feta Cheese Turkey Burgers

Superb recipe, I did adjust it to suit our tastes by sauteeing a half small onion with a few chopped mushrooms and a large clove of garlic in EVOO to add moisture and flavor. I served the burgers on whole wheat buns with a microlayer of FF mayo and fresh spinach leaves. Next time I will make a Tzaziki sauce to serve with them. This recipe will definately make it into our regular rotation. Yummo!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

This is a very tasty recipe, I only used 1/2 of the sausage called for because I was afraid of it tasting like pork, and drained the meat really well to cut the fat. I also upped the spices to appeal to our palates and we were incredibly pleased with the results.

Famous Butter Chicken

This a a real winner. I was out of eggs so I coated the chicken in mayo then dipped in crumbs, it was the absolute juiciest chicken I have ever prepared. Served with mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli for a easy yummy meal. Definately a keeper.

Clark's Quiche

This is my FAVORITE quiche recipe by far. I make it often and I modify the recipe with the ingredients that I have on hand. The last one I made with only vegetables for Lent so I upped the spice and added a bit of cayenne to give it a kick. I could eat this every day if it wasn't so caloric, lol.

Three Chile Dry Roasted Tomatillo Salsa

Love, Love , Love this salsa recipe and I live in Texas, home of Tex-Mex. I use it when I make my enchiladas suisas and serve it with grilled lime chicken as well. I roast the vegetables in the oven so that I don't have to watch them too closely.

Texas Christmas Pickles

Mushroom Liver Pate

I love this spread. It so reminds me of the dinner parties that my parents held when I was a child growing up in Milwaukee. Works quite well on cocktail rye. I sometimes add wee bit of grated onion.

Tilapia with White Wine Caper Sauce

This is one of the best fish recipes I have ever tasted. I served it with sauteed spinach and tomato and feta salad. I added lemon juice to the sauce because we drank the wine, but it was still awesome.
