Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2014
This blueberry pancake recipe is the best recipe I have ever tasted! Love the yogurt ingredient!I like the berries folded in, I tried the tip by Chef John on placing the berries in the pancake after the pancakes are on the griddle but I thought the berries got too hot so I folded like this recipe suggests.

Green Bean and Mushroom Medley

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2014
Looks delicious! I plan on cooking it when I can find out a couple of things about the recipe. Why is white pepper used? Actually I have never heard of white pepper. I also like steaming my vegetables rather than cook them in water. I love to saute onions and mushrooms that would add good flavor.

Stuffed Cabbage

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
I question some preparations about this recipe. I am wondering why it is necessary to freeze the cabbage head the night before and then defrost it before stuffing it? I baked the cabbage rolls the full amount of time that it says too but the cabbage was not tender and very hard to chew. It did have good flavor and I am going to try it again later.

Stewed Tomatoes (Gobbledygook)

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2013
Yes I tried it and I liked it! I had not heard of baking stewed tomatoes. I substituted fresh garden tomatoes in season for the canned tomatoes and turned out good. You might add a little water when using the fresh tomatoes.

Harvested Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2013
Really good! Most stew recipes are made with beef but too much beef is boring. Chicken stew adds creativity. I think it is the zucchini that makes it so good.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2013
This is a super chicken recipe. Very tender and the veggies are so sweet esp. the little pearl onions. It saves a lot of time too when your schedule is busy to cook in the slow cooker.

Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2012
I think it is simply the best!I usually make chili with beef but turkey is the key and I really liked it. Try it and you'll like it! My favorite part of this recipe is topping it with sour cream and cheese with tostitos. Mashing up the kidney beans is a good thing to do, it makes the chili nice and thick like a dip.
