About this Cook
I started my love for cooking when I was sixteen. My first job was at a bakery and it sparked my interst to learn how to bake and cook, also home economics class helped a lot.!
My favorite things to cook
chicken stew, beef stew, barbecue chicken and beef barbecue too. Spaghetti, pasta dishes, pizza Steamed veggie combos' I love baking chicken, tuekey, and fish. Cookies, cobbler and cake.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Pot roast was one of our favorite birthday and faimly meals.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumph is over deciding what kind of cooking method is the best for me. What I found out is; when it doesn't come out right just cook it in the slow cooker or crock pot the next time and it will always come out right! That goes without saying as long as you proportion your receipe with the right amount of liquid.
My cooking tragedies
I had a little tradegy one time when I was making a pumpkin cake from scratch. I forgot one of the spices, as soon as I set the cake in the oven to bake I seen the spice I had for gotten to mix in, I took the cake back out mixed in the spice and completed baking the cake. It came out just fine!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak
A favorite! I really liked using the multi-color peppers with the green pepper. Sweet and delicious.

Individual Baked Eggs
I was searching for a brunch recipe and this fits great. It's a good way to blend the flavors of bacon and eggs plus cheese. I decided to use silicone muffin cups instead of metal. Worked great and easier to clean.

Sloppy Joe Mac and Cheese
This looks great but before I make it I was wanting to know if anyone had tips on converting it by using the canned Manwich instead of the packaged envelope of Manwich? I am wondering if the canned diced tomatoes and tomato paste should be omitted? Any suggests or thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks
