Cabbage Roll Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
overall this was a very easy recipe. I would have to agree with some reviews that it is very bland. I added some garlic and italian seasoning but it was still missing something. maybe next time I will try spaghetti sauce inplace of the tomato sauce.

Quinoa Pilaf

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2008
this was okay. It came out a little sticky. And it is slightly sweeter than expected. If I make it again I will use broth instead of water. It got no complaints from the kids.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2005
My husband and kids really like this I thought it was okay. I would have liked it more if the sauce was thicker. Next time I will try to thicken the sauce.

Healing Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2005
I thought this was a good soup. I did make one change which was to add one cup of dried lentils with the cabbage. I didn't have the italian tomatoes so added 1 1/2 tsp italian seasoning. Not the best cabbage soup I've made but it was good even my 6 and 5 year old asked for seconds.

The Best Chicken Soup Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2005
This recipe is really good. I made very few changes. I left out the beef bullion and added lots of garlic. I also used 3 bone in chicken breasts. I will have enough left over to add a few more veggies thicken it and make a chicken pot pie for another meal.

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2005
This is really good. Much like I remember as a kid. I did have ot make one change to accomadate my gluten intollerant children. I used quinoa flakes instead of the oats. I also used vanilla soy milk Because that was all I had instead of the regular milk. All in all very good. I did find it a little too sweet. so next time I will be decreasing the sugar to 1 1/2 cups.

Lemon Dill Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2005
This was really good. I did decrease the salt to 1 teaspoon and it turned out fine. I also just let it cook on the stovetop instead of baking. It was done much quicker and still had a great taste.

this is sooo good! I used crushed tomatoes instead of whole and used 3.5C chicken broth and 1.5 cups lentils I didn't cook the lentils before hand. It is great recipe because you can mix it up some. Thanks for the recipe!

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2005
Wonderful!!! This was a hit with everyone. Even the 5 and 4 year old. I was a bit nervous about cooking it as I am new to cooking shrimp so I used some previous sugestions and used precookied shrimp and just let them warm up in the sauce. I also used chicken broth instead of wine and increased the garlic(you can never have too much garlic). This is a big winner in our house. Thank you for the recipe.

Tofu Parmigiana

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2003
This is such a great recipe!!!!! I dregded in flour than in egg than in bread crumbs and had no problem with the bread crumbs falling off. I also just used my favorite spaghetti sauce instead of the tomato sauce. It turned out great. I've made it two times in the past 3 weeks.
