Reuben Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2005
I made this for a Super Bowl party yesterday and it was the biggest hit. I served it with an extra sour rye bread just cut unto halves. I didn't do any layering of ingredients, just mixed it all together and it turned out great. Since it is pretty much an artery clogger I think I will limit this one to just couple times a year or for poker nights with the boys but a HUGE hit that I highly recommend.

Easy Cheesy Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2003
I didn't like this as much as the group I cooked it for (a little too creamy for my taste) but they LOVED it and scarfed it down in under 20 minutes. I added mushrooms as others had, I also added potatoes. This is a really easy recipie that is great for groups and can work with most things you already have in your cabinets. Thanks for sharing such an easy crowd pleasing recipie!

Best Chicken Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2003
Not the best. I did this for a group of my hsbands co-workers and they sort of ate it. I followed the recipie to the "t" just really didn't like the end product....I kept trying to think of anything that would make it better and came to a realization that anything extra would probably just make it worse. Wont make this again.

African Curry

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2003
HUGE hit with the people that I cooked this one for. As far as modifications I did a lot of the things others did, used brown sugar, put in some mushrooms, used light coconut milk, I used boneless skinless breasts cut into bit sized pieces. Since my batch of this was going to be transported to somewhere that was outdoors in the evening I did it in a slowcooker and at the last hour I tossed in brown rice so everyone could just dish in strait to a plate or bowl and everything was perfect! I will make this one again and again my thanks to Valariekooka for sharing and for all of the other raters suggestions for making this a smash hit!

This is a keeper and a winner. Thanks for sharing Susan :)

Creole Chicken I

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2003
This score was given but all the people who ate this one. They loved it! I did spice things up a bit by adding some creole spices and some chopped jalapenos. I didn't cook the rice seperately, I used Uncle Bens Brown rice and added it for the last hour of the cooking so the rice didn't pastey. I also left out the ham....I used to live in Louisiana thick in creole country and never heard of anyone cooking with ham so I deleted it. This is one I will make again thanks for sharing Nancy it was a BIG hit!

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2003
I made 2 pans of this for a group that really loved it! I did a lot of what the otehr reviewers did, I added onion and this recipie is scaled for half of what it yeilds so keep that in mind when shopping. I added something to the sauce to give it a tad for zip, some Dijon Mustard did the trick. I also wanted to repeat what the others have said.....DRAIN BEFORE YOU GLAZE or it will be runny. Great reipe though big hit with the guys!
