Chicken Pot Pie IX

Have made this many times as written, and we love it! I use the Pillsbury crusts as I am not a pastry maker, and it always turns out great. It's a staple in my recipe book.

Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

I made this yesterday, and am now a big fan of this easy recipe. It yields a very nice, mild gingerbread. I don't care for very strong gingerbread, so I found this perfect just as it is written. But you do have to watch it carefully toward the end of the cooking time. An hour would have been too long in my oven; it was done in 50 minutes.

Fish Tacos

My whole family loves this recipe. The white sauce and the cabbage are perfect toppings for these tacos. I omit the jalapenos and capers from the sauce and it still turns out great. Since nobody in my family likes corn tortillas, I serve them on flour tortillas. Thanks for this great recipe!

Cheesy Stuffed Shells

This is a really good recipe! The whole family loved it. My husband is notoriously picky about pasta dishes, but he really liked this one. And it was a good way to "sneak" some spinach to my son! I made it as written, except: I added a thin layer of sauce to the bottom of the pan before I put the shells in, and I used about a pound of Italian turkey sausage. I'll be making this one again.

Salmon with Dill

I really like this recipe. Since I've discovered it, it's the only way I'll cook salmon. My whole family loves it, it's easy, fast, and so far has been foolproof--even for a "fish-phobic" cook like me!

Coconut Cream Pie I

Very good and so easy! I love coconut cream pie, and was delighted with this no-bake version. I used a graham cracker crust, and coconut flavored pudding and it turned out great.

Tomato Sausage Ziti

My family really liked this! Plus it was easy and quick to make. My picky 5 year old gave it a thumbs up and my husband, who is not a fan of pastas with tomato-based sauces, even liked this one! I made it with turkey sausage, so I didn't have to worry about draining away the fat, but otherwise I made the recipe exactly as it is written. This one is a keeper. Thanks, Susan!

Poke Cake III

A great cake--easy to make, moist with a great taste! I used blue gelatin to make this a 4th of July dessert, and it looked very nice. I'll make this one again!

Grandma's Onion Rings (Southern Style)

Delicious! These are wonderfully light and delicate. For once, I didn't feel like I was eating mostly batter--it really lets the taste of the onions shine through. My husband and son loved them--I will be making this recipe again and again!

Two Tier Strawberry Pie

This pie was easy to make and had a delicious flavor. My only complaint is that is the cream filling was too runny. Perhaps I didn't whip the cream enough. Next time I will use Cool Whip, as suggested by other reviewers, and use a graham cracker crust. But I agree it is a good base recipe.

Gravy Baked Pork Chops

Quick, easy and delicious! The chops stay moist and tender and the gravy is wonderful--good on mashed potatoes or rice. Both of my "boys" (one is 35, and the other is 3) love this one. Thanks for a great recipe!

Modenese Pork Chops

My husband and I both love this recipe. It has a wonderful taste and aroma, and I like the fact that it is a simple recipe with only a few ingredients that I already had at home. Plus, we are trying to eat less carbs, and this recipe is a great low carb recipe.

Different Chicken Divan

An excellent recipe. I only added a pinch of cayenne, since I'm not fond of really spicy food and was very pleased with the results. My 2-year-old even liked it! I'll make this one again.
