Slow Cooker Moroccan-Style Chicken and Potato Stew

Easy to prepare, but too spicy. If I make this again, I will use only 1/8 tsp. red pepper and crushed red pepper.

Crawfish Etouffee IV

Great recipe and very easy to make. The second time I made this I added a bottle of clam juice and 1/2 can tomato paste, just to play around with it. Works well in this dish. Oh, and I used 1/2 cup butter, no oil.

Portabella Nirvana

I really liked the taste of these stuffed mushrooms, so did my family. Can't give it a kid's rating, since I did not serve it to anyone under 18. I may try marinating the mushrooms in a butter-garlic-lemon mixture next time, but make the stuffing exactly as the recipe says. I'm not sure how much you can rely on the stars I've given, since I'm used to chopping, dicing, and slicing when I cook. I thought it was easy to prepare and cook - delicious!

European Black Bread

Excellent black bread! Taste and texture are great; moist, not spongy, won't fall apart when you spread butter on it. Even my 2-year-old grandson likes it a lot. The fact that I no longer have to buy this type of bread from "specialty bakeries" makes it that much better.

Good 100% Whole Wheat Bread

This is by far the best whole wheat bread. My family loves it, down to my 2-year-old grandson. I do add one TB of wheat gluten; have tried it without the gluten, so I know it turns out better with it.
