Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
This was delicious. The cinnamon gives it a unique flavor. I marinated mine overnight and made sauce out of the leftover marinade.

Cola Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2008
This was very good but I can't imagine adding 2 liters of cola. I used 2 cups ketchup and 2 cans of diet cola.(3 cups) I had to remove the chicken and let the sauce boil down for quite a while to thicken it. I also added 2 TBS of onion flakes, 1/2 TS garlic powder and 1 TS Worcestershire. Next time I will try regular cola.

No-Fry Potato Doughnuts

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2008
These need a new name. They are very good but I agree with the other reviewer who said they are not like a doughnut. My kids also commented that they were closer to a soft pretzel than a doughnut. I substituted instant potatoes and I don't have a bread machine so I mixed and kneeded these in my kitchenaid.

Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
These were really good! They get 5+ stars on taste. I have no idea how you could roll these out to three feet though and I can't imagine they would be like a mall pretzel if you did. Ours were not very pretty, we are going to have to keep making them untill we get them to look pretty:)

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake VII

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2008
This was very good. I cooked the sugar/butter first to help it carmalize a bit and patted the pineapples dry before adding them.

Sukhothai Pad Thai

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2008
This was not good if you followed the recipe. Way to much vinegar and tamarind. Also, it does not state how long to soak the noodles. I soaked them for about 45 minutes. I thought all that oil was meant to finish cooking them but they never softened.

Cheddar Pull-Apart Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
These where good but there was too much onion for our liking. You do need all the water for the topping because it is mostly soaked up by the onions. I doubled the cheese and that was good. I will make again without the onion.

Crispy Chicken Strips

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
This was great! I used eggs instead of the butter so it was a great healthy way to make chicken strips. They even had some crunch.

Zucchini Bread IV

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2007
I have made this twice now and it is really good! I doubled the amount of zucchini and used 1/2 whole wheat pastry flour. Most of my family doesn't like nuts so I left them out. Next time I make it I am going to try replacing 1/2 the oil with apple sauce and decreasing the sugar a bit.

Creamy Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2007
I had to make a few changes as I didn't have all of the ingredients on hand. I didn't have any evaporated milk so I substituted powdered milk that I mixed double strength. I used 1 tsp mustard powder instead of the Dijon. I was a little short on the cheese and didn't have extra-sharp so I used about 3/4 lb of medium cheddar, although I bet extra-sharp would have been even better. To cut calories you could easily get away with 1/2 pound of extra sharp. I added 1 lb of ground pork. My family loved it! Will make again!

These where very good. I used fresh ginger. The sauce was to thin so I added a little bit of corn starch.

This is very good!!! I used the microwave method and it worked great. I cut the bag open, spread it out and let it cool on the bag.
