Bread Pudding II

I make this whenever I have leftover bread. Delicious! Sometimes we top with caramel sauce and whipped cream. Sometimes we eat it as is. Great, simple recipe!

Grandma's Egg Custard Pie

Definitely the best custard pie I've ever had. Couple of tips: 1. If you buy a frozen pie crust (I used Marie Callendar's), put the pie on a baking sheet. The disposable pan is flimsy and this will easily spill all over your oven and make a huge mess (the baking sheet was the only way I'd move it to the oven without spilling the whole thing). 2. When you add the scalded milk, do a tablespoon at a time. This prevents scrambling, plus gives you more time to beat with a hand mixer. ENJOY!
