This was just OK for me. My husband loved it but I also made a separate batch for him with chopped kielbasa in it. I think that gave it better flavor. I also used sharp cheddar cheese but think I'd sprinkle some on top next time.

Baked French Toast

Made this for breakfast for Christmas morning and it was fabulous! I did add a pinch of salt but the rest of the recipe was perfect. I might try next time cutting the bread into cubes and making more of a casserole but my very picky family raved about this!

Dutch Babies II

In 8 years, my husband has only requested that I make something again three times . . . and this was one of them! I thought they were a bit dense, but that may be because I used evaporated milk rather than regular. Pretty good though!

Kathy's Delicious Whole Slow Cooker Chicken

I liked the flavor of this and I think making sure you use the sesame oil is important because it was a lot of the flavor. I did make the mistake of using boneless skinless breasts which I think is why mine wasn't oily like some people mentioned, but that said, it took a lot longer to cook for mine to fall apart.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

This was wonderful! I wanted something rich because I was only serving dessert, so I used french vanilla pudding and 2 cans of evaporated milk. For the chocolate, I used a whipped chocolate frosting so the chocolate wouldn't be overpowering. WONDERFULLLLL!!!!

Applesauce Oatmeal Cake

This was pretty good. I used 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 cup Splenda to reduce the amount of sugar. I also left out the raisins and I think that was a big mistake! Not bad though!

Apple Stuffed Pork Chops

This was OK. My niece enjoyed them but my husband and I weren't thrilled. I did add additional butter because the stuffing seemed rather dry. Might try it again and add some white wine or something to add some flavor!

Good Dog Cookies

I made these as Christmas gifts for some "dog friends". My dogs sat in the kitchen the entire time and attacked every little morsel that dropped! Every four-legged friend seemed to like them!

Slow Cooker Lasagna

This was great and very easy. I modified it by using 2 jars of sauce, ricotta cheese instead of cottage cheese, and I added spinach. Some people complained about the burnt edges - that's the best part of lasagna!!! Yum!
