Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2007
This was delicious AND easy. I simply served over minute-rice seasoned with a little chicken bouillon. yummy!

Grandma's Onion Rings (Southern Style)

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2007
We love these onion rings. Although I would double the flour and egg mixtures. The recipe didn't make nearly enough to cover 3 large onions! Thanks for the great recipe.

Absolute Best Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2006
I also had trouble getting the potatoes to cook completely. Even after an extra 20 minutes cooking. The flavor wasn't bad, but instead of cornflakes usted french fried onions. I think they added enough flavor to keep it from being too bland, as my family also found the cheese sauce to be rather bland. Might try this recipe again with already cooked potatoes, and jazz up the cheese sauce a little. Thanks for sharing though.

Cheese Ball I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2004
I have now used this recipe 3 times! First at Thanksgiving, then Christmas, now New Years. I have received compliments every time. I love cheese ball and have been looking for a simple recipe that didn't cost a fortune to make. This is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!

Turkey Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2004
We really enjoyed this dish. However I agree with others that it needs more sauce. I will try this recipe again, but maybe double the sauce. overall, very tasty.

Marian's Creamed Corn

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2004
My family loved this recipe! I don't care for creamed corn, but I was looking for a last-minute side dish for a family dinner, and this was the only recipe I could find that I had all the ingredients for. I used canned corn because I didn't have any frozen. I used frozen corn the second time I made it. Delicious either way! Thank you!

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2004
This recipe did not work for me at all. The flavor was fine, but I found the dough to be so dry, even after adding much more than the 3 Tbs icewater called for. I couldn't roll it out, and it fell apart and I had to piece it together in the dish. It might be just me, but I will not use this recipe again.

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2004
I'm not a big fan of gingerbread, I made these at my children's request. I thought they tasted fine for gingerbread, and my husband and children both liked them. I really thought the dough was wonderful to work with and they baked up really nice. I will make these again.

Sicilian Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2003
Yummy! This recipe was a big hit at our house tonight. The dough was perfection to work with and baked very nicely. The sauce was wonderful - my husband is very picky about pizza sauce and he loved it. Definitely a keeper!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Very good, my family gobbled them up. I would recommend this recipe, because we really liked it, but I am still searching for the perfect cookie.

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2003
Wonderful flavored cookie! My family loved this recipe. I only wish they would have spread out more, instead of keeping the same little ball shape they started as. I don't know if it's the recipe or just my altitude (Utah), but overall very yummy!

Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2003
I loved the texture of these cookies, and also how well the spread out while baking. I did however find them a little less sweet than what I prefer. I will probably make these again and add some vanilla, to see how that works.

Curry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2003
I agree with other reviewers that this recipe was rather bland. I think that maybe Miracle Whip would be better for the dressing than the Mayo, it would give it that extra zip and sweetness that it is lacking. I probably will keep looking for another recipe, as my husband doesn't like curry.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2003
Yum! Thanks for a tasty and easy recipe! I followed other reviewers' suggestions and only used one can of broth, which for me, after adding chips and cheese didn't leave enough liquid. Next time I will use both cans of broth per the recipe. My can measurements also were a little larger than stated in the recipe, so that might have something to do with it, but my family really enjoyed this recipe.

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2003
The reason these cookis are soft is because they aren't cooked in the middle! I baked my first pan for 8 min., worried I was going to overcook them. I baked my second pan longer, until they started turning dark. Both pan-fulls tasted like I was eating raw cookie dough that had been heated up in the microwave. I followed the directions precisely, so I don't know what the problem was, but I will not be making these again.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2003
I was somewhat disappointed in this recipe. Flavor was fine but not as fabulous as other reviewers had said. I found the gravy to be way too runny and very greasy. I also didn't think it was as tender or flavorful as the way I normally make roast which is chop some veggies and dump an envelope of onion soup mix over the top, add a little water and slow-cook until done. It was a disappointing end result after all the build-up.
