Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2013
This was a hit even though I used the wrong ingredient and didn't think that it was going to come out at all. Make sure to use GRATED parmesan like the recipe calls for. I tried using shredded parmesan since that's what I had in my frig. and the bread crumbs and cheese came right off while I pan fried them. I ended up just browning both sides, then finishing them off in the oven in the sauce, checking every 5-7 minutes until it was done. I think that it took about 20-30 minutes. Thank goodness for seasoning it before I put it in the egg/parmesan&bread crumb mixture otherwise it might not have any flavor. My kids loved it and commented on how I should have made more! The chicken was definitely moist and delicious. I'll definitely try it again using grated parmesan. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2013
I was trying to find something to do with a bag of frozen Italian meatballs when I came upon this recipe. After reading other reviews, I decided to cut the recipe in half. It was perfect for my family of 5 with enough for leftovers, too. I loved the flavor, but would leave the butter out of the noodles. The butter made the noodles too rich. Overall, good recipe.

Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
I have tried many banana bread recipes and I have to say that this is the best banana bread recipe that I have tried. Moist and delicious! I toasted the pecans a little before adding them to the batter. I've already made this banana bread 3 times this week. I loved that it didn't call for more than a half cup of vegetable oil as other recipes. I know that I could have used applesauce, but I think that it tasted just right as the recipe was written.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
This pumpkin bread was delicious and very easy to make. I was worried about 1 cup of oil, 3 cups of sugar, and 4 eggs being in the ingredients, but after reading that it made 3 loaves, it made sense. I added chocolate chips and it made it taste even better! The pumpkin bread was definitely moist and tasted so much better the next day. It took about an hour total to bake and the top was a little hard, but the next morning, the top got soft and it was perfect!

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2007
This was very easy to make and quite delicious. My kids thought it was too sweet, but after letting it sit for about an hour, even though it got cold, it tasted perfect. My friend didn't even know that I used store bought biscuits, but I could taste the difference. Still yummy and quick!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2005
The cake tastes just as great with 1/2 cup vegetable oil. Also works out great with fat free sour cream.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2003
This pot roast was delicious and so tender. I cooked it for almost 11 hours since I was waiting for my brother in law and his fiancee to arrive for dinner. I wanted to make sure that it was hot and I figured that a little more heat could make it tenderize more. I used some Montreal Steak seasoning to season the roast before I browned it. Absolutely delicious. I will definitely make this again.
