About this Cook
I am a teenage IB student who is always pressed for time. Baking is one of the things that keeps me from going insane - I'm always looking for new, exciting recipes (cookies, muffins, breads...) to make for my friends and family.
My favorite things to cook
I am the "cookie queen" - chocolate chip, shortbread, snickerdoodle, lemon, etc. I also make muffins, breads, and pies(:
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love making and decorating gingerbread cookies for Christmas!
My cooking triumphs
I've made cookies for quite a few events (missions trip fundraisers, countless bithdays, club parties, and the occasional breakfast treat) and they are always a hit! I also make delicious muffins and honey wheat bread.
My cooking tragedies
My cakes and cupcakes always seem to turn out flat, and I don't even want to talk about my tart tatin.

Baked French Toast
I made this for my mom on Mothers' Day and she loved it! I had to modify the recipe quite a bit according to what I had - I used normal honey wheat bread in a small, circular pan. I halved the recipe, using almond milk instead of skim milk, and cut up one apple to put on top. I was a bit worried about the turn out, but it was perfect (: The caramel topping was delicious, and a little bit of whipped cream didn't hurt.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
I made these for a missions trip fundraiser, and everyone who bought some was asking for more! Great consistency, just like the description, although I've found that I need to press down the dough before baking, otherwise the cookies will stay in place and end up super small and thick.

Banana Nut Bread III
Awesome bread! I added a few more walnuts than it called for, and sifted a bit of cinammon on top. It turned out moist and delicious! I'll definately make it again. (:
